We recently completed a chimney capping project in Oshawa for a homeowner who no longer used their chimney and wanted a clean, permanent solution.

The first step was removing the old liner, which was no longer needed. Leaving it in place can trap moisture and lead to long-term damage inside the chimney, so removing it helps prevent future issues.

Once the liner was out, we installed a solid stone cap to fully seal the chimney. This keeps out water, debris, and animals

Capping an unused chimney is a simple and effective way to avoid ongoing maintenance and protect the structure from weather damage.

We proudly service Whitby, Oshawa, Bowmanville, Peterborough, Port Hope, Cobourg, Trenton, Belleville and surrounding areas.
