We recently completed a small masonry brick replacement job in Bowmanville, Ontario. The project involved replacing several damaged bricks while ensuring the repairs matched the original structure. We found similar bricks that fit seamlessly with the existing ones, maintaining the building’s aesthetic. To preserve its heritage we used the correct lime mortar mix, which is flexible and allows for natural movement. This careful attention to detail ensured the repairs will blende in well over time and restored the building’s charm, enhancing its overall appearance while keeping its character intact.
